I was born in Edinburgh on May 16th 1969, however I wasn't McMad then!  Our family lived at Fairmilehead on the outskirts of the city, at the foot of the Pentland Hills.  There are four of us - an older sister, two older brothers and me. 

Attending private school and then college,  I achieved 7 O'grades and 2 Higher grades plus various modules.  I grew up in a nice area, with wonderful parents and a close knit family and extended family.  After leaving college I had various different jobs throughout the years - not being overly career minded, my aim was to find a man I loved, get married and settle down and have a family.

I met my man in 1990 and we married on Saturday 5th September 1992.
Soon, three children followed!  For the purposes of this site I will name them McLaddo, McProper and McTart - The McMadettes!

McLaddo was born in October 1994, weighing in at 7lbs 15ozs.
McProper was born in January 1997, weighing in at 8lbs 7ozs.
McTart was born in October 1999, weighing in at 8lbs 11ozs.

They were all such good babies and so cute!!

So I had my perfect little unit!! Three wonderful children and my man!!
In April 2003, me and my man parted company, but have remained very amicable.  So it's now just me and the McMadettes and we get on just fine and dandy!!  They go visit their dad every second weekend, and are with me the rest of the time.  All in all they're pretty good kids - they have their moments like anyone else - but they're completely mad like their mum!!  
 I enjoy doing cross stitch, genealogy and reading.  I love music!  And I can talk for scotland!  Some would say that I enjoy a wee drink too!!
